Summary

This order blocks property and financial interests of people who undermine democratic processes or institutions in Zimbabwe. It replaces the prior annex to an earlier order and expands who may be listed.

The Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State, can designate additional individuals, freeze their assets in or under U.S. control, and prohibit donations and transactions that benefit them. All U.S. agencies must take appropriate measures to enforce these restrictions. The order takes effect November 23, 2005.
