Summary

This order blocks and freezes property in the United States of people and groups listed in the Annex and others who support North Korea’s weapons programs, luxury imports, or illegal financial activities. It prohibits Americans and anyone in the United States from providing funds, goods, or services to those blocked and bans transactions meant to evade these measures.

The order directs the Treasury Secretary, working with the Secretary of State, and all federal agencies to enforce the blocks to address North Korea’s recent hostile acts and illicit international activities.
