Summary

This order declares a national emergency over the situation in Venezuela and blocks property and interest in property of certain Venezuelan individuals. It also suspends their entry into the United States and prohibits donations or transactions that benefit them.

The measures apply to people listed in the Annex and anyone the Treasury Department and the State Department determine undermined democracy, committed serious human rights abuses, restricted free expression or assembly, or engaged in public corruption in Venezuela.

Agencies are authorized to enforce these blocks and report to Congress.
